1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing SignAndDock.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The Platform as a Venue SignAndDock.com is a marketplace that connects Boat Owners (“Renters”) with Dock Owners (“Vendors”).
We are not a party to the rental agreement. The lease is a contract directly between the Renter and the Vendor.
We do not own, manage, or inspect the slips. We provide the software to facilitate the booking, verifying identities, and processing payments.
3. Fees and Payments
Owners: We charge a service fee (Commission) which is deducted automatically from the rental payout.
Renters: You agree to pay the monthly rental rate specified in your booking. Payments are processed via Stripe.
Recurring Billing: For seasonal or monthly rentals, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
4. User Conduct
Renters: You confirm your boat fits the dimensions specified in your booking. You must maintain valid liability insurance.
Owners: You confirm you have the legal right to rent the slip. You agree to honor the price and availability listed on the platform.
5. Liability Disclaimer SignAndDock.com is not liable for:
Damage to boats, docks, or personal property.
Personal injury occurring at a listed slip.
Disputes between Renter and Owner regarding lease terms.
6. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
